About LSAR

Mission & History

Lake Superior Area REALTORS® advances member success and advocates for the real estate industry.

The Lake Superior Area REALTORS®, Inc. was formed in August 2017 as a result of a merger between the Duluth Area Association of REALTORS® and the Superior Area Association of REALTORS®.  We are managed by a volunteer Board of Directors.

The Duluth Area Association of REALTORS® was formed in 1906 and is a founding member of the National Association of REALTORS®.  The Superior Area Association of REALTORS® was formed in the 1910 and was an early member of the National Association of REALTORS®.

We provide services to our members, including education, the multiple listing service, legislative advocacy, professional standards enforcement, and more. In addition, we strive to be “The Voice for Real Estate” in our community and provide information and resources to governmental agencies, the media, and the public.
